    UN Human Rights chief calls for restraint to avoid Middle East conflict

The High Commissioner emphasized that diplomatic efforts should be prioritized, encouraging all involved parties to return to negotiations. “It is vital that they use their voices and influence to bring the warring parties to the negotiating table to end this,” Türk added, calling for an end to the conflict through dialogue rather than further violence.

    Concerns have been mounting over the potential for a broader conflict in the Middle East, which could destabilize an already volatile region. Türk’s comments come amid rising tensions between multiple countries, with international bodies such as the UN warning of the severe humanitarian impacts of continued fighting.
