    Public test flight of an eVTOL flying car takes place in Dubai

    At Skydive Dubai, the Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, hosted today the world’s first public flight of X2, a cutting-edge eVTOL flying car designed by Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng. Short-haul flights and intelligent mobility solutions will enter a revolutionary era following the X2 flying’s historic 90-minute test flight from Dubai.

    Public test flight of an eVTOL flying car takes place in DubaiThe futuristic two-seater eVTOL flying car X2 is equipped with an intelligent flight control system and autonomous flight capabilities and is the latest generation of flying cars developed independently by XPENG’s affiliate XPENG AEROHT. In addition to emitting no carbon dioxide, the X2 has a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour, making it ideal for low-altitude city flights.
