A supersonic missile launched from Indian territory was fired into Pakistani airspace and landed in Mian Chunnu, a city in Punjab province. The misfire was caused by a technical malfunction. Indian Defense Ministry has expressed deep regret over the accidental firing of the missile towards Pakistan.
